Search and filters
Find what you need by keyword or by describing it, filter by color, material, brand and more, and see only what is already on your computer.
1The numbers on the screen are the steps in Step by step.
What it does
Search understands what you write, not just the file name: you can search for “caramel leather armchair” or “wood-look porcelain tile”. Filters narrow the results by color, material, style, finish, brand, format and size.
The same search and filters appear on the catalog tabs, each with the filters that make sense for it.
Before you start
- Internet for meaning-based search. Without it, search looks only at the text.
Step by step
Type in the Search field
From 2 letters on, the results already change. Write the way you would say it. To start over, use Clear search.
Open the filters
Click Filters. The number next to it shows how many are active. Each option shows how many items it has; the first 12 appear and “+N” shows the rest.
- 3D Library: Color, Material, Style, Finish, Brand, Format and Size.
- Materials: brand, color, finish, piece size and resolution.
- HDRIs: resolution.
See only what you’ve downloaded
Under Availability, Installed shows only what is already on this computer and On demand only what hasn’t been downloaded yet.
Sort
Under Sort: Name (becomes Relevance when you search), Recent or Largest.
Close or clear
Click Done to see the results, or Clear to remove all filters.
